The Misfit of the Martial World

In the early days of the nation’s founding, there was a famous warrior in Joseon.

Some described him as "manly," "unrestrained," or "hot-blooded"—but most simply called him a "dog."

That he managed to survive among sword-wielding warriors while maintaining such a foul temperament could be explained by only one thing:

He was strong.

Absurdly strong.

Eventually, after much agonizing, the King appointed him as the escort general for a diplomatic envoy heading to Ming and sent him away.

Rumors circulated that the King had put together an entirely unnecessary mission just to get rid of him, but His Majesty offered no comment.

At any rate, he left Joseon.
