Meet the ghosts

The Soul Wager
Feeling lucky? Every now and then a caught ghost leaves a 2x button behind. Tap it to offer your whole score to the soul jar: double or nothing. Half the time the spirits hand it back doubled; the other half, every point is lost to the void. The roll happens on our servers, and there's no undo.
- • The 2x button shows up at random after a catch and fades in 90 seconds.
- • One wager per day (resets at midnight UTC).
- • It always stakes your entire score, never part of it.
- • You need at least one point, and the hunt must be live.
| Multiplier | Outcome | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| x2 | Doubled | 50% |
| x0 | Lost to the void | 50% |

How to play
Spot a ghost
Ghosts drift along the bottom of the homepage, series and chapter pages. They turn up when you least expect them.
Catch it
They float, swoop, dodge your cursor and some even blink away. Click or tap one to catch it and score its points.
Watch out
Some ghosts shout BOO! and flee. Those don't score, so get ready for the next one.
Rules
Sign in so your catches count. Some ghosts take several hits. Ghosts that shout BOO don’t count. Soul Wager is optional and can’t be undone. Auto-clickers or scripts get you banned and put on the Wall of Shame.
